Class of 2029 - Girls

Tamaiah "Tink" Gary

Class of 2029 | 6'1" Forward/Center | Albuquerque Prep (NM)

Tamaiah “Tink” Gary is one of the most promising young prospects on the Grind Session circuit, entering her freshman year with a level of maturity and poise rarely seen in players her age. After completing a full Grind Session season as an 8th grader, Tink proved she could not only compete with but excel against older, more experienced high school players—often facing opponents three to four years her senior.

Tink plays with a high basketball IQ well beyond her age. She is coachable, focused, and a natural leader on the floor, earning the respect of both teammates and coaches through her work ethic and consistency. Her defensive presence in the paint is a standout feature of her game. She positions herself well, communicates on rotations, and controls the key by altering shots and rebounding with strength and determination.

Offensively, Tink is a solid low post scorer. She uses her frame well, establishes deep position, and finishes efficiently around the rim. Her footwork continues to improve, and she has a soft touch in the paint, allowing her to contribute dependable interior points in high-pressure situations.

What makes Tink truly special is her upside. Already performing at a high level against elite competition, she has four full years of high school basketball ahead to develop, refine her game, and expand her skill set. With her defensive presence, post play, leadership, and growth potential, Tamaiah “Tink” Gary is poised to become one of the top players in her class nationally and a future Division I prospect.
