Class of 2027

Obinna Ekezie

Class of 2027 | 7'1" Center | Prolific Prep (FL)

Twitter: @ObinnaEkezieJr| Instagram: @obinnaekeziejr

Obinna Ekezie is an emerging force in the paint and one of the most promising big men in the Class of 2026. Standing at a towering 7’1”, Ekezie commands attention every time he steps on the court, making his presence felt with elite shot-blocking ability and relentless rebounding on both ends.

Defensively, Ekezie anchors the middle with natural timing and instincts, altering shots and deterring drives with his length and rim protection. His footwork and agility allow him to cover space quickly, and he is disciplined in help-side rotations. As a rebounder, he controls the glass with strength and positioning, often kickstarting transition opportunities off the defensive board.

What separates Ekezie from many players his size is his ability to run the floor. He transitions well from defense to offense, showing hustle in fast-break scenarios and finishing above the rim in transition. His toughness and physicality on defense set the tone for Prolific Prep’s interior presence, and he continues to improve his low-post fundamentals.

As he enters his junior season, Ekezie projects as a high-major Division I recruit with long-term upside. Continued development on the offensive side — including low-post scoring and mid-range consistency — will elevate his overall game. With his elite size, defensive motor, and rebounding instincts, Obinna Ekezie is a name college programs will be tracking closely over the next two years.

Celestino Augustino

Class of 2027 | 7'1" Forward | Balboa (FL)

From the Pangos AA Camp, Las Vegas, June of 2025. Fairly athletic, runs well, long arms, good athlete, good motor... finishes in transition, moves well without the ball, needs to improve his range and facing the basket offensive game...solid driver, can rebound on both ends, ok ball handler and passer, is a willing defender, quick enough to guard a wing, if the wing is a player his size.

Gabe Nesmith

Class of 2027 | 6'5" Forward | Prolific Prep (FL)

From the Pangos AA Camp, Las Vegas, June of 2025 Hard not to like this young fella, get to watch him perform on the Grind Session...great young man, likes to compete and is coachable, can drive it and finish with either hand, really good court vision and is unselfish... makes good decisions, has a mid-range jumper and can knock down the three ball, better than average handles...takes pride in his defense, good instincts in the half court as well as the full court, seeing and anticipating the play...great teammate.

Martay Barnes

Class of 2027 | 6'2" Guard | Academy of Central Florida (FL)

From the Pangos All-American Camp, Las Vegas, June of 2025. Hard not to like Martay's game, this young man can do it all... he's a floor general, in the all-star seeing that was the Pangos Camp, he wanted the ball, wanted to be the PG on his team, wasn't concerned about how many points he had, but he can and did score plenty...can score from all three levels, has no problem getting to the rim, has great court vision and plays unselfishly, always kicks it ahead to an open teammate, makes great decisions...very good on ball defender and has great defensive instincts in the full court, might gamble a tad too much sometimes...needs to get stronger but a pretty good athlete.

Precious Sam

Class of 2027 | 6'11" Center | AZ Compass (AZ)

From the Pangos AA Camp, Las Vegas, June of 2025 Good size, long, an ok athlete... plays hard at times but needs to be more consistent in his effort...runs well rim to rim, can catch the lob, is limited on offense to finishing plays and offensive rebounds...on defense can block shots, plays good one on one post defense, but is an average rebounder for a guy his size, does a good job of keeping his man off the glass, but needs to be taught to go get the ball...has not played a lot of basketball in his life.

Micah Gordon

Class of 2027 | 6'  Guard | Plainfield HS (NJ)

Twitter:@MicahGg1 | Instagram: @micahgordonbasketball

From the Pangos AA Camp, Las Vegas, June of 2025 Decent size for his position, has some speed and strength... wired to be a pass first PG, likes to get down hill and push the pace...good shooter needs to improve his range, really good handles and passing ability, unselfish...good on ball defender, pesky.

Kamsi Awaka

Class of 2027 | 6'9"  Forward | Cheshire Academy (MA)

Twitter:@KamsiAwaka0097 | Instagram: @kamsi.0097

From the Pangos All-American Camp, Las Vegas, June of 2025. Good size for a post player, would be undersized at the five and not skilled enough on offense to be a four...big body, physical, strong, runs well, etter than average athlete...his offense consists of put backs and dro ffs, finishes thru contact, not much outside of the key...good lost pos defender and help defender, good rebounder.
